Construction is underway on the new Cleves Branch Library (126 S. Miami Ave., Cleves, Ohio), estimated to be completed in the spring 2027, as part of CHPL’s Facility Master Plan

When complete, the Cleves Branch Library will replace the current Miami Township Branch Library with a larger, modern facility designed to better meet community needs now and in the future.

“As we break ground on this new chapter, we do so with deep respect for what came before and with excitement for what comes next,” said Branch Manager Carrie Bernard at the ceremony. “This new space will allow us to expand our programs, welcome more families, offer new technology, and create more opportunities for everyone in the Cleves and Miami Township communities.”

  • Accessible entrance
  • Larger collection of books and other items
  • Community room
  • Maker equipment
  • Study rooms
  • Additional public computers and a laptop kiosk

“Moments like this are about more than a building. They’re about investing in people, in opportunities, and in the future of this community,” said Eva Jane Romaine Combe Director of the Library Paula-Brehm Heeger.
