For more than three decades, R.L. Stine has been thrilling readers with spooky stories, unforgettable twists and just the right amount of goosebumps. This fall, we're excited to welcome one of the world's most beloved children's authors for a special evening at the Downtown Main Library.
Join us on Thursday, October 15, for an author talk with R.L. Stine, creator of the bestselling Goosebumps series and dozens of other favorite books for young readers. The evening will include a live talk, audience interaction and opportunities for Book Signing ticket holders to meet Stine during a post-event signing and photo opportunity. This event is made possible by the Eva Jane Romaine Coombe Fund at The Library Foundation.
Stine's books have sold more than 400 million copies in 32 languages, making him one of the bestselling children's authors of all time. Readers know him from series including Goosebumps, Fear Street, The Nightmare Room and many more. His stories have also inspired television shows and movies watched by millions of people around the world.
Author Talk Details
Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Half of the total tickets will be released at noon and the second half will go on sale at 6 p.m.

Admission with Book Signing ($50)
Includes:

- Signing and photo opportunity with R.L. Stine following the event
Please note R.L. Stine will:
- Only sign the paperback copy of Goosebumps: House of Shivers #7: What We Do at Night
- Not sign any other items (such as programs, personal items, or photographs)
- Will not personalize signatures
