From historic architecture to iconic teams to famous writers, Cincinnati and Hamilton County are home to countless stories waiting to be discovered! This year’s Teen Art Contest invites you to bring “local history” to life through original bookmark designs. We can't wait to see what you create!
The top three winning designs will be printed and distributed at all CHPL locations.
About the Contest
The contest is for ages 13-18. Art must be an original two-dimensional artwork and submitted through an entry form, which can be found at chpl.org/art-contest beginning Oct. 5.
You can submit artwork beginning Oct. 5 through Oct. 31, 2026. No AI-generated works will be accepted.
Finalists will be chosen and shared on social media on Nov. 2, 2026. The public will then be invited to vote for their favorite! The top three winners’ bookmarks will be distributed across all 41 Library locations.
