Upcoming Maintenance at Madeira Branch
We're making important improvements at the Madeira Branch to help keep the library comfortable and welcoming for years to come.
Beginning July 20, customers may notice a few temporary changes during their visits:
- Meeting room closed
- Use the book drop entrance
- Reduced parking access
- Limited play area
- New storytime location

The Madeira Branch Library, opened in 1965, received an Interior Updates project in July 2020. These necessary improvements within the building accounted for years of normal wear and tear.
This Interior Updates project included:
- Updated carpet and paint throughout the branch
- Reversing the adult and children’s areas of the building in order to offer improved customer service and better meet the needs of the community.
