Your Mt. Washington Branch closed temporarily for a renovation on June 6. A temporary space, located at 2206 Beechmont Ave., is now open for customer use while the permanent branch undergoes a refresh.

The Mt. Washington grand opening has been set for Feb. 14, 2026. 

Stop by the temporary branch for:

  • Holds pickup and material returns
  • In-person and curbside service
  • Curated items for browsing and check-out
  • Public computers
  • Printing, copying, and faxing
  • Storytimes and limited events

Elements to Look Forward to: 

  • New reservable meeting room with updated technology 
  • New MakerSpace 
  • Quiet reading area with fireplace 
  • Vibrant kids' and teens' areas 
  • New paint and flooring 
  • New furniture and shelving 
  • Modernized mechanical and electrical systems that were 50+ years old
