The Mt. Washington Branch closed temporarily for a renovation on June 6.

A welcoming temporary space at 2206 Beechmont Ave. is now available while the permanent branch undergoes a refresh.

Stop by the temporary branch for:

  • Holds pickup and material returns
  • In-person and curbside service
  • Curated items for browsing and check-out
  • Public computers
  • Printing, copying, and faxing
  • Storytimes and limited events

Elements to Look Forward to: 

  • Modernizing mechanical and electrical systems that are over 50 years old and at the end of their service life
  • New paint and new flooring throughout
  • New furniture throughout
  • Refreshed staff space
  • Updated children's area
  • Dedicated teen area adjacent to natural light
  • Quiet adult reading area with fireplace wall
  • A new MakerSpace area
  • A meeting room that can accommodate larger groups
