As an added convenience for our customers, holds lockers are available at the Clifton Branch, Forest Park Branch, opens a new window, and the Oakley Branch. All CHPL cardholders in good standing may use the holds lockers regardless of their home branch library.

The Forest Park Branch holds lockers are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The Oakley Branch holds lockers are available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., 365 days a year.

Using Clifton Holds Lockers

To use the lockers at the Clifton Branch, select "Clifton Pickup Locker" as your pickup location when placing holds on material in the catalog.

When your holds are available, staff will check the items out to you, place them in one of the locker bays, and you'll be notified that your items are ready for pickup. To open the bay, enter your full library card number, then tap "Enter." You will need to return items to the Clifton Branch in person or via the book drop.

Using Oakley Holds Lockers

To use the lockers at the Oakley Branch, select "Oakley Pickup Locker" as your pickup location when placing holds on material in the catalog.

When your holds are available, they will be placed in one of the locker bays and you'll be notified that your items are ready for pickup. You just need your library card and PIN to open your locker. When you do that, your items will automatically be checked out to you. You can also return books to the locker and have them checked back in automatically.

Using Forest Park Holds Lockers

To use the lockers at the Forest Park Branch, select "Forest Park Pickup Locker" as your pickup location when placing holds on material in the catalog.

When your holds are available, they will be placed in one of the locker bays and you'll be notified that your items are ready for pickup. You just need your library card and PIN to open your locker. When you do that, your items will automatically be checked out to you!
