About the
Groesbeck Branch
Until March of 1963 when the Groesbeck Branch opened its doors, library service in the area was provided by Bookmobiles that were prevalent for many decades in suburban and rural Hamilton County. In March 1999 construction began on a new 15,000 square-foot facility. The new Library was dedicated on May 6, 2000, in memory of former Library Board Trustee, Dr. Peter Garvin. Design features of the reading areas for adults and children include skylights, clerestory windows, vaulted ceilings allowing for abundant natural light.
