On the lower level, customers can expect a new flexible program space, two new study rooms, a new meeting room, and a renovated staff space.

“What I’m most excited about is our community and customers having full access to the building again, and reimagining spaces that will continue to allow [the Avondale Branch] to be an imperative third place,” said Tiffani of the coming renovations.

She adds that the project will also help the branch better serve their partners and customers through having more study and meeting room space.

“I have seen how restoring and renovating library spaces can be such an important asset for families, generations, and communities,” added Tiffani. “I know that this will center literacy in a whole different way in our community.”
