Written by Joe Armstrong, Content Specialist, Marketing, Downtown Main Library

We insist on being a library for all. All minds. All modes. All needs. More than 2.4 million visits are made to the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library each year from customers living in and working in our diverse, vibrant, and unique neighborhoods. Our series “Meet a Library Customer, opens a new window” shares the stories that minds of all kinds have each day at CHPL.

The Library receives all kinds of letters every day. Most are the same sort of spam and advertisements that clog your mailboxes, but every so often we receive letters that make our day: letters from you, our customers! One letter sent to the Harrison Branch Library was so well-written (and adorable!) that we couldn’t help be share it!

When we received a letter from Airi, a fourth-grader who often visits the Harrison Branch Library, the letter was crafted so well that it was hard to believe it was her first time sending one!
