There’s truly something for everyone in our extensive eMagazine collection. With 3,198 different titles on OverDrive alone — titles, not issues! — it’s easy to find a digital magazine to read at the beach, inside your home while you hide from the cicadas, or outside while you enjoy the cicadas’ song.

eMagazine Tech Tips

  • New! Get push or email notifications when new issues of your favorite magazines are available. “Notify Me” Smart Tags for magazines, opens a new window is one of several improvements to the most recent version of OverDrive’s Libby app.
  • Flipster is the Library’s other eMagazine service and it offers two major magazines that are not available on OverDrive: People Magazine and Real Simple.
  • Digital magazines look best when viewed on a larger screen like a tablet, compatible eReader, or computer monitor. This is because magazine layouts aren't traditionally single-column, like books. Our staff tried the recently updated Libby app on their phones to view digital magazines, and it is a big improvement from the previous version. Now you can pinch to zoom in and out.
