#LibraryGivingDay is a one-day event with the goal of encouraging people who depend on and enjoy public libraries to donate to their individual library system.

I invite you to celebrate our Library on Library Giving Day! CHPL's 41 locations do so much for our community—and can do so much more thanks to your generosity!

By making a gift to The Library Foundation, you can help our Library continue to do more for our community!

Making MakerSpaces Possible in Hamilton County

MakerSpaces at six Library locations wouldn't be possible without the private support of The Library Foundation and donors like you. The equipment at the new MakerSpace inside the Forest Park Branch cost about $47,000. Customers are amazed at the level of equipment that's available to use at no charge.

"The Forest Park Branch's MakerSpace has unleashed the creativity of our community. We've seen a young girl learn how to use the laser engraver and she engraved all of her friends' names on pieces of wood and then gave them to them as gifts. On the other end of the spectrum, Dr. Ruth, who is over 100 years old, has started to use the branch's MakerSpace to laminate items for her church ministry." — Shaun D., Forest Park Branch Manager

Helping with Homework at 23 Branches and Counting

During the school year, K-8 students can get no-cost, walk-in, one-on-one homework help in reading and math at select CHPL locations. Homework Help is made possible through the generous support and underwriting of the Charles H. Dater Foundation, the H.B., E.W. & F.R. Luther Charitable Foundation, the Scripps Howard Fund, and the Turner Company Construction Foundation. The Homework Helper program goes beyond grades—it's about kids who are able to engage with adults productively after school.

"Our customers benefit so much from our branch's Homework Helper. She is always working with students. She's helping make a difference in their lives - both succeeding academically and social engagement." — Heather P., Delhi Branch Manager.

Thanks to supporters like you, The Library Foundation can fund programs like those mentioned above, provide extra supplies to support literacy-building activities like storytime, make unique local collections available and accessible, and so much more! By making a gift to The Library Foundation, you can help our Library continue to do more for and with our community.
