Madisonville's new branch library is ready for you to explore! CHPL's new Madisonville Branch Library is now open across the street from its previous location. You're invited to stop by the brand new, fully-accessible 8,900 sq. ft. space packed with new resources, services, and experiences.
A Library Built for Our Community
The new Madisonville Branch Library was designed with feedback gathered from the community in mind. Many features, including an emphasis on accessibility, areas for community gatherings, space to create, and increased parking, were incorporated based on feedback from the Madisonville community.
More Library to Explore and Experience
The new, tech-focused space is a $3.3 million investment in Madisonville, packed with features requested by our customers. Offering more than 8,900 square feet of library space on a single floor, the building is now fully accessible for all of our customers. This new space nearly doubles the amount of public space on the main floor of Madisonville’s current building!
Dedicated library parking is available to our customers directly behind the building, a requested improvement over the current location, along with plenty of new, additional on-street public parking spots.
Be sure to explore the entire branch as there's something to discover in every corner. From a vibrant, creative playspace for kids, a dedicated teen area to hang out in, study, and game, to a large community gathering space which you can reserve for up to 50 people, there's something for everyone at Madisonville's new branch library.
