Just in time for the novel’s centennial anniversary, Cincinnati Ballet is bringing the glittering world of The Great Gatsby to its stage as a fusion of ballet and Broadway. Library customers can enjoy choreographer Septime Webre’s North American premiere of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s jazz-age classic by securing tickets via Discovery Pass!
Bask in the opulence of show-stopping choreography, extravagant costumes, and breathtaking sets. The show includes live jazz musicians, a vocalist, and a narrator weaving Fitzgerald’s writing throughout the performance.
Please note: Tickets are limited to two tickets per Library cardholder on specified dates/times: Sunday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. Users must complete the transaction on the Cincinnati Ballet website and receive your confirmation email from tickets@cballet.org
How it Works
Ready for a night (or afternoon) at the ballet? Reserve your Discovery Pass tickets now, as quantities are limited. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how!
- Head to the Library’s Discovery Pass webpage, click on “Reserve a Pass.”
- Login using your Library card credentials.
- Locate Cincinnati Ballet on the Discovery Pass portal, and follow the prompts to reserve tickets, which are limited to two tickets per Library cardholder.
- Once you retrieve your pass via the Library, click on “reserve your tickets online in advance.”
- You’re nearly done! But first, you must complete the reservation process on cballet.org to receive the complimentary tickets.
- Claim your tickets before the performance on Cincinnati Ballet’s website. Discount for complimentary tickets will be applied at checkout.
- You will receive a final confirmation email from tickets@cballet.org that will have your seat location, date, and time of performance.
Please note the following considerations:
- This Discovery Pass offer is valid for two free tickets per cardholder in Zones 1-3 on the specified dates: Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. and Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
- Additional tickets will incur regular box office fees.
- If you missed the redirect link to the Cincinnati Ballet’s ticketing website, you can login to Discovery Pass, click My Reservations, and follow the necessary steps to redeem the complimentary tickets using Cincinnati Ballet's ticketing portal via the provided link.
