Take in the Cincinnati Ballet with Discovery Pass

 Experience the Cincinnati Ballet with Discovery Pass!  

 Library customers can plié, sauté, and pirouette their way to the Aronoff Center’s Jarson-Kaplan Theater on two special occasionsSunday, Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. or Thursday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. — for the Kaplan New Works Series.  

Cincinnati Ballet’s Kaplan New Works Series is a curated collection of fresh, world-premiere works from some of dance’s most sought-after choreographers.  

Please note: Tickets are limited to two tickets per Library cardholder on specified dates/times.  

 How it Works  

Ready for a night (or afternoon) at the ballet? Reserve your Discovery Pass tickets now, as quantities are limited. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how!  

  1. Head to the Library’s Discovery Pass webpage, click on “Reserve a Pass.” 
  2. Login using your Library card credentials. 
  3. Locate Cincinnati Ballet on the Discovery Pass portal, and follow the prompts to reserve tickets, which are limited to two tickets per Library cardholder.  
  4. Once you retrieve your pass via the Library, click on “reserve your tickets online in advance.”  
  5. Claim your tickets before the performance on Cincinnati Ballet’s website. Discount for complimentary tickets applied at checkout. 

Please note the following considerations:  

  • This Discovery Pass offer is valid for two free tickets per cardholder in Zone 1 or 2 on the specified dates.  
  • Additional tickets will incur regular box office fees. 
  • If you missed the redirect link to the Cincinnati Ballet’s ticketing website, you can login to Discovery Pass, click My Reservations, and follow the necessary steps to redeem the complimentary tickets using Cincinnati Ballet's ticketing portal via the provided link. 

Featured Choreographers  

With the overarching theme Colors of Emotion, this season's Kaplan New Works Series will feature four world-premiere commissions from choreographers Caroline Dahm (A Very Long Short Story), Yoshihisa Arai (Sontana), Andonis Foniadakis (Interview), and Andrea Giselle Schermoly (All the Things).
