This year’s Summer Reading program was one for the books: 29,990 youth signed up to participate. We’re so thankful you joined us across 41 Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library locations this June and July.
Our Library staff reported many happy faces turning in their completed tracking sheets and bingo challenges. With the theme “Reading on the River,” this year’s program brimmed with themed events, cool prizes, lots of spinning the Wonder Wheel, and getting lost in a good book, of course!
Let’s cheers with a few stellar stats:
- Teen participation for Summer Reading increased by 13 percent when compared to last year.
- Over 1,000 coupons for a free Gold Star kid’s meal were handed out.
- 79,560 customers attended Library events for youth and families during June and July.
Thank you for choosing to join the Library this summer. We look forward to seeing you throughout the year and for Summer Reading 2026.
