For this episode of the West End Stories Project Presents, we spoke to Alexis Kidd-Zaffer, Executive Director of Seven Hills Neighborhood Houses, one of the Library’s many community partners.

Seven Hills Neighborhood Houses is one of the last neighborhood houses or settlement houses in Cincinnati. Founded in 1945, Seven Hills Neighborhood Houses provides basic needs assistance, advocacy for victims of crime and trauma, youth programming, events, community development, and more.

Over the years, Seven Hills Neighborhood Houses has provided the library with opportunities to connect with the community at its Ezz Fest, Winter Wonderland, Family Fun Day events, and more. They also partnered with the library to provide weekly technology assistance to customers at their location on Findlay Street and assisted with the West End Branch Library’s opening celebration festivities.
