CHPL's Story Center explores the works of prominent Cincinnati writers, historical and contemporary.

Voices of Liberation

Explore the stories of six Cincinnatians who became eyewitnesses to the genocide at the end of World War II. Some wrote about their experiences in letters and diaries, while others would later share their memories with the Veterans History Project.

Perceptions of Home: The Urban Appalachian Spirit is the migration stories of twenty-two Appalachian families and individuals who, through choice or circumstances, made the greater Cincinnati their home away from home.

Photographs in this exhibit are by Malcolm J. Wilson; interviews were conducted by Don Corathers; the exhibit was completed in 1996.
