The Elmwood Place Branch Library, which has been in its leased space since 1977, received a Interior Updates in March 2020. These necessary improvements within the building accounted for years of normal wear and tear.
This Interior Updates project included:
- Updated carpet and paint throughout the branch
- New furniture for customers
Once improvements are made to other branches in the North Central Zone, the Library will
evaluate whether customer usage changes for Elmwood Place, and consider making further improvements or tailoring spaces and services based on customers’ evolving
needs.
