To provide greater access to our rare print materials, especially those of local significance, CHPL is constantly digitizing items and adding them to our Digital Library, thus making them more accessible to the community and to researchers worldwide.
Newsdex Newspapers
Newsdex is an index of Cincinnati stories and events, as well as death notices and obituaries from our local newspapers. It’s a unique resource created and maintained by Library staff. Use it to find full article citations, including titles, dates, pages, and column numbers. In some cases, it will also note if an image accompanies the article. While not comprehensive, it’s a great starting point for research using our local newspapers. A library card with us is not necessary to use Newsdex.

Career Online High School offers adults the opportunity to earn their high school diploma and a career certificate. Gain the skills you need to become college- and career-ready.

Northstar Digital Literacy New!
Northstar Digital Literacy defines basic skills needed to perform tasks on computers and online. Online, self-guided modules assess the ability of individuals to perform tasks based on these skills.
