Adult Learning Center
The Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library's Adult Learning Center offers academic assistance in the areas of Basic Academic Skill Building, Adult Literacy Sessions, Conversational English Study, Online Job Assistance, and Exam Proctoring.

Services
Adult Learning Center staff and volunteers provide:
- Pre-GED and GED Online Lessons
- Adult Literacy Sessions
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) – Conversational English
- Online Job Application Assistance
- Basic Academic Skill Building
- Exam Proctoring (appointment required)

Technology
Nine computers, including an AfterSchool Edge station, are available for adults to use for academic study, workforce development, or research projects. These computers feature a wide variety of technology and software applications, including:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Powerpoint
- Microsoft Access
- Microsoft Excel
- Additional eLearning programs
All computers also have multiple USB ports, media card readers, headphone slots and DVD/CD burners.
The Collection
Adults visiting the Adult Learning Center have access to a collection of reference material that supports their academic pursuits including encyclopedias, dictionaries, almanacs, atlases, and textbooks.
