Designed specifically for high school students, MAS Ultra – School Edition is a full-text database of popular magazines, reference books and primary sources covering many subjects, including history, science and health. It also includes over a million photos, maps and flags. 

MasterFile Premier provides full-text information from thousands of general reference publications including magazines, reference books, primary source documents, and an extensive image collection of photographs, maps and flags. 

Designed for middle school students, Middle Search Plus is a full-text database providing popular middle school magazines and reference books. Covering subjects such as history, current events, science and sports, it also includes thousands of biographies and primary source documents, plus over a million photos, maps and flags. 

Newsdex is an index of Cincinnati stories and events, as well as death notices and obituaries from our local newspapers. It’s a unique resource created and maintained by Library staff. Use it to find full article citations, including titles, dates, pages, and column numbers. In some cases, it will also note if an image accompanies the article. While not comprehensive, it’s a great starting point for research using our local newspapers. A library card with us is not necessary to use Newsdex.

The Ohio Historical Newspaper collection allows you to search the full run of the Cincinnati Post and the Cincinnati Enquirer in one spot. Also includes the Dayton Daily News (1923-1986), and historical coverage for several smaller Ohio cities, including Chillicothe and Zanesville.

Each title includes the complete paper, cover-to-cover, with full-page images in PDF format. For newspapers still publishing, coverage extends to within days of the current issue.
