CHPL’s 7th Annual Women’s Health Fair Welcomed Local Organizations and Over 700 attendees!   

CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati & Hamilton County Library welcomed over 700 guests for the 7th Annual Women's Health Fair, which took place on Saturday, March 7, at the Downtown Main Library. The event celebrated and supported the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of female-identified individuals as a part of the Library’s Women's History Month. 

The Women's Health Fair was an invaluable opportunity for community members to access health information and resources. Attendees had the chance to participate in a variety of activities, including classes led by professional health and fitness instructors, a special Storytime for kids, and engage in a live Q&A with esteemed health care professionals. 

Highlights of the Event Included: 

  • Participating Organizations: The event featured booths from numerous organizations, including Airrosti, Anthem, Beech Acres Parenting Center, Cancer Justice Network, Christ Hospital, and many more. 
  • Live Q&A:  
    • Menopause 101 + Q&A with Dr. Claire Kappa MD, MSCP | 11:00 – 11:45 a.m. 
    • Health & Fitness Classes: 
    • Story Time + Mommy & Me Yoga | 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. 
    • Women & Weightlifting | 12:00 – 12:45 p.m.
    • Annex Yoga Session | 1:00 – 1:45 p.m.
    • Meditation Sound Bath | 2:00 – 2:45 p.m.

The Women’s Health Fair event continues to be an enriching experience, supported by regional and local health organizations, health and fitness professionals, and community partners.
