Why: The Library is holding its first Maker Day at Rhinegeist Brewery. This event features five maker stations with activities for all ages. The first 50 people at the event receive a laser-etched pint glass with the Rhinegeist and Library logo. Stations include:
- Button and Bottle Opener Making: Create your own buttons and bottle openers with our MakerSpace button machines.
- Beginner Soldering: Learn how to solder with a beginner project that gets you soldering like a pro in no time.
- 3D Scanning: Get a 3D scan of your head. Once the scan is complete, you can come into the MakerSpace and print your 3D scan.
- LED Light Up Cards: Just in time for Mother’s Day or you can create a light-up card for any occasion!
- Custom Rhinegeist Ping Pong balls: Watch our Egg-Bot make custom Rhinegeist logo ping pong balls and then use them on their ping pong tables!
