CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library (CHPL) is pleased to announce the reappointment of Diane Cunningham Redden to the Board of Trustees.
Ms. Cunningham Redden, an Evendale resident, has been a dedicated CHPL Board of Trustees member since being appointed by the Hamilton County Common Pleas judges in April 2018 to fill an unexpired term. She has now been appointed for a full seven-year term, serving Oct. 1, 2023, through Sept. 30, 2030. She currently serves as the Board Vice President, Human Resources Committee Chair and as a member of the Facilities, Finance and Audit, Development and Nominating committees.
“Diane consistently brings her passion for providing the community with welcoming spaces through the implementation of our Facility Master Plan and her support of limitless learning,” said Eva Jane Romaine Coombe Director Paula Brehm-Heeger.
“I'm thrilled to continue my work serving on the Library Board of Trustees, and I’m committed to the Library's mission of connecting people to the world of ideas and information here in Cincinnati and Hamilton County,” Cunningham Redden said.
A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Cunningham-Redden recently retired from a career working for LION Group, an Ohio company focusing on military and public safety equipment manufacturing. At retirement, she was the Director of the CBRN PPE division. Cunningham Redden has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Ohio Governor’s Council on Aging Advisory Board, SHELeads Hamilton County Board of Directors and is the Hamilton County Municipal League Administrative Director. Cunningham Redden is a 2020 graduate of the Jo Ann Davidson Ohio Leadership Institute. She is also the Honorary Chairwoman of the Hamilton County Republican Party.
