Evendale businesswoman appointed to Public Library Board of Trustees

The Hamilton County Common Pleas Judges appointed Diane Cunningham Redden to the Board of Trustees for the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County for a five-year term.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Redden has spent her career working for companies involved in military and public safety. She is currently head of CBRN & uniform sales for the LION Group Inc. Redden has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Ohio Governor’s Council on Aging Advisory Board, SHELeads Hamilton County Board of Directors, the National Fire Protective Association Technical Committee and the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators. She is also the Honorary Chairwoman of the Hamilton County Republican Party.

“I wish to give back to Hamilton County to a greater extent,” said Redden. “This appointment will allow me to be involved in another aspect of service by reaching library patrons and their neighborhoods while being a caretaker of our hard-earned tax money.”

Redden fills the position left vacant when Ross Wright resigned from the Board in December 2017. Redden’s first board meeting is Thursday, May 31, at the Price Hill Branch Library.
