What: The Autographed Books display
Where: The Popular Library Department at the Main Library, 800 Vine St. on the first floor of the South building.
When: July 24–Sept. 25
Why: This display showcases some of the autographed books recently discovered on the shelves. The exhibit features books written by award-winning gothic, horror, fantasy, and science fiction authors such as:
- Poppy Z. Brite, author of critically acclaimed “Liquor” novel series
- Joe Lansdale, writer for Batman: The Animated Series
- Brian Lumley, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Horror Writers Association
- Connie Willis, author of Doomsday Book that won Hugo and Nebula awards
