Week of April 14, 2025: The Library held a public engagement session April 10, 2025, to discuss plans for the Delhi Branch and to listen to community feedback.

The branch building's design process will begin in the second half of 2025 with hopes of construction beginning in late 2026. The current project budget is $18,000,000. The Library will be working with J.S. Held, SHP, and Turner Construction on this project.

Week of August 12, 2024: The Library has continued working with our partners on options for the Delhi Township Branch in accordance with the original FMP timeline of 2026-2027 implementation. We will include township officials and the community as options develop.

Week of April 8, 2024: The Library has continued working with our partners on options for the Delhi Township Branch in accordance with the original FMP timeline of 2026 – 2027 implementation. We will include township officials and the community as options develop.

Week of October 8, 2023: The Library has been working with the architect, SHP, along with Turner Construction and JS Held on site maximization at the Delhi Township Branch. Potential options include acquiring a 25-foot strip of property to widen the entry and connect with the Delhi Park at the rear of the
Library site.

This option would result in expense associated with utility relocation. We continue to explore options and plan to meet with township officials when we have more to share.

Week of August 7, 2023: The Library recently met with a representative of Delhi Township administration regarding possibilities for expanding the Library property, potential for connecting to the neighboring park, as well as opportunities for shared parking. We continue to explore design ideas and site improvement requirements.
