Customers Choose Their Favorite Improvements to the Refreshed Green Township Branch Library

The celebration is still going strong at the newly reopened Green Township Branch Library! After reopening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 10, customers have been busy exploring all the new improvements to this branch whose architecture reflects the silos and barns of the horse farms that once dotted the township.

Check out the reopening festivities of the branch, which received its first major update since its construction in 1990:

Customers of all ages will find something fresh to discover at the Green Township Branch Library, with improvements based on community listening sessions hosted in 2019. While there are dozens of much-needed updates at the branch, here are some favorites hand picked by customers:

We are so excited about the dedicated area for Genealogy and Local History - the historic maps of our community are so interesting to look at!

We love the new teen area! It has so many more materials to borrow (our favorites are the graphic novels!) and it's nice to have new seating and space just for us. 

The new kids space is our favorite! We love its new location in the building and how many new play equipment and materials are available to use.

Everything! This is my favorite branch, and I especially love the awesome staff!

This is our local branch and we've been customers for years. We are so excited about all the improvements; it looks amazing!

I'm a long-time volunteer at the Green Township Branch and I can't wait to help again now that the branch is open and better than ever. I love the new layout of the branch!
