If you aren't able to visit one of our library locations, the world of ideas and information is still at your fingertips. CHPL’s Outreach Services brings the library to you, serving customers who have special needs or may have difficulty using the Library through traditional means.
Bringing the Library to You
Seniors living in retirement communities and activity directors can take advantage of our door-to-door deliveries. With a library card, you can access everything the library has to offer, at the branch, online, and right to your door with contactless delivery.
Outreach Services tailors the number and type of materials they deliver to each customer based on their requests. This includes audiobooks and multiple copies of large-print books for customers' book clubs. Each month, Outreach Services makes deliveries to 165 senior facilities and materials to over 1,000 individuals.

Delivering A+ Materials to Hamilton County Schools
Outreach Services also delivers materials straight to classrooms across Cincinnati and Hamilton County through Teacher Collections. Teacher Collections are hand-picked titles that support and enhance classroom curriculums.
Schools with five or more teachers signed up are eligible for contactless deliveries of materials. This free service helps save teachers’ time and enhances their lesson plans.
With two weeks notice, our Outreach Services staff will prepare a collection of titles (books, audiobooks, or eBooks) for your classroom.
