CHPL’s Most Borrowed Teen and Kids Books of 2023

You're sure to recognize many familiar titles - and find some new reads - in 2023's borrowed teens and kids books by Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library customers.

Perennial favorites "One Piece," "The Hunger Games," and "Naruto" were among the top teen books borrowed this year. Books later adapted to films and series were also popular this year with "The Hate U Give," "The Summer I Turned Pretty," and "All the Light We Cannot See" all making the top ten. 

R. J. Palacio's debut "Wonder" was the most borrowed kids book of 2023 while "Pokémon Adventures" took the second spot. Otherwise, it was the year of "Dog Man" and "Cat Kid" as David Pilkey's furry friends took six of the ten top spots this year.
