Joining with the MLK Coalition to Celebrate and Honor Martin Luther King

Written by Liz Foreman, Marketing Manager, Downtown Main Library

As in previous years, the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library is proud to partner with the MLK Coalition in 2025 to honor and recognize the life and legacy of Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

All are welcome to join the coalition's Jan. 20 event. Festivities begin with a march starting at the Freedom Center followed by a program at Music Hall with keynote speaker Ohio State University History Professor Dr. Hasan Kwame Jeffries, music by the MLK Chorale and Baba Charles and the Samba Band, and a Land of Superheroes children's area, presented by the Bootsy Collins Foundation.
