New and Familiar Favorites Top CHPL’s Most Borrowed Items in 2022

In 2022, familiar favorites and plenty of new faces top the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library’s most borrowed items. Check out the most popular items among the 11.7 million books and book-related items borrowed by customers in 2022 - including a staggering 3 million eBook checkouts, opens a new window

CHPL customers did talk about Bruno – a lot! Encanto topped our streaming music charts. John Grisham, David Baldacii, and James Patterson were joined by none other than Dolly Parton in the top adult books of 2022. TikTok sensation A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas broke into the top five books borrowed by teens to join perennial favorites in Naruto and One Piece. Pokémon once again topped the kids books list, joined by Dav Pilker’s “pupular” Dog Man series.
