CHPL Invites Public to the Cleves Branch Library Groundbreaking Ceremony

CLEVES, OH— The Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library (CHPL) is excited to announce a groundbreaking ceremony to mark a major milestone for the Cleves and Miami Township communities, the construction of the new Cleves Branch Library. The event will take place on Monday, June 29, at 4 p.m. at 126 S. Miami Ave., Cleves, Ohio. This new construction is made possible by the taxpayers of Hamilton County. The public is welcome to attend, along with elected officials and generous donors.

The new branch will result in a welcoming, accessible, functional, and future-focused space for the community. It will include:

  • Expanded parking
  • Accessible entrance
  • Larger collection of books and other items
  • Community room
  • Maker equipment
  • Study rooms
  • Additional public computers and a laptop kiosk

Construction is expected to be completed in Spring 2027. The new library will replace the current Miami Township Branch Library, which will remain open during construction.
