Read-a-Likes for 2025’s Top Libby Titles!

Here are the top five titles our customers checked out on Libby this year! Have you read any? Whether you have or not, here are read-a-likes for each title!

1. The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins

The Let Them Theory is billed as a step-by-step guide on how to stop letting other people’s opinions, drama, and judgement impact your life. If you love Mel Robbins’ self-help bestseller, try Untamed by Glennon Doyle, which explores how to stop people-pleasing and start living.

2. Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros

Two books in Rebecca Yarros’ Empyrean series landed on this year’s top five titles! Set at Basgiath War College, the third book in the series follows student Violet and her role in saving the world from attacks. Bonus: There are lots of dragons!

If you’re hungry for more romantasy, try Shield of Sparrows by Devney Perry, which includes an enemies-to-lovers plotline, monsters, forgotten princesses, and more (oh my!).

3. Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry

Romance author extraordinaire (and Cincinnatian!) Emily Henry’s latest Great Big Beautiful Life doubles as historical fiction. Backdropped by a seaside town in Georgia, the novel follows competing journalists, Alice and Hayden, as they vie for the chance to be the biographer for a mysterious heiress. If you’re looking for a read-a-like, try The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Like Great Big Beautiful Life, it features a reclusive celebrity and a journalist seeking to capture her story.

4. The Women by Kristin Hannah

Kristin Hannah’s The Womenhas been a book club favorite since its release in 2024. Set in the mid-1960s, The Womenfollows nursing McGrath as she follows her brother to Vietnam, where she firsthand the trauma of war.

For another book exploring women’s roles during the Vietnam War, check out Alice McDermott’s Absolution

5. Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros

Rebecca Yarros’ first book in her Empyrean series, which features dragons galore, also made our top five list.  Pick up Silver Elite by Dani Francis for yet another high stakes romantasy featuring a female protagonist, elite training program, and more.
