Embroidery Machine

Ideal for personal embroidery projects, CHPL's embroidery machines can stitch on a variety of items including clothing, bags, towels, and other personal items. Upload your own design, or use one of the machine’s designs or fonts to create a custom piece of apparel.

Visit the Madisonville Branch or the Loveland Branch to use a Brother Innovis NS1150e Embroidery Machine.

  • The machine offers 138 pre-loaded designs and 11 fonts
  • The machine can embroider up to a 5 x 7 inch design
  • Images can be imported in PES format from a USB stick and loaded onto the machine
  • The machine offers on-screen editing (including letter editing), enhanced zoom, and design features for resizing, rotating, repositioning, and combining embroidery designs

What You'll Need

Use of the embroidery machine is free, however there is a cost for materials if customers choose to use them.

Library customers must bring their own apparel to embroider, and are welcome to bring outside embroidery thread and embroidery stabilizer to use with their project.

Customers may utilize pre-loaded embroidery designs, and may also bring their own design files in PES format on a USB to upload onto the machine.

Limited quantities of embroidery stabilizers (cut away, wash away, and tear away) are available for no cost upon request.

Cost

$0.25 per bobbin of colored thread. (Limited color options are available for purchase, call the Madisonville Branch at 513-369-6029, and the Loveland Branch at 513-369-4476 to confirm.)
