Sublimation Printer
Sublimation printing produces colorful, long-lasting designs on a variety of materials. Sublimation ink is pressed onto a surface such as a t-shirt, and heat turns the ink into a gas. The material then absorbs that gas, resulting in a durable and colorful design.
More Information
Sublimation is a good choice for placing designs on fabrics, plastic, and more. MakerSpace users can use available software to tile patterns, color match, and easily format their print to reduce paper waste. The MakerSpace does not provide t-shirts or other material for sublimation projects. Bring in the object you wish to use so that your design is printed at the correct size. Sublimation ink interacts best with synthetic material; 100% polyester is recommended for t-shirts.
Once your sublimation design is printed, our heat press may be used to permanently absorb the ink into your project.
